INDOOR AIR QUALITY Concerns with Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) have increased since energy conservation measures were instituted in the 1970's. This minimized the infiltration of outsite air and other ventilation measures, contributing significantly to the buildup of indoor air contaminants and toxins. How It Affects You? The quality of indoor air is affected by ventilation system deficiencies, overcrowding, tobacco smoke, microbiological contamination, outside air pollutants, and off gassing from materials and furnishing the office or home and from mechanical equipment.
